First and foremost, M & M Systems is a standards based installation company. TIA/EIA (Telecommunications Industry Association/Electronic Industries Alliance) Engineering Standards and Publications are designed to specify a telecommunications cabling system for commercial and residential buildings that will support multi-product, and multi-vendor environment. As defined in the TIA Engineering Manual, a standard is "A document that establishes engineering and technical requirements for processes, procedures, practices and methods that have been decreed by authority or adopted consensus. Standards may also be established for selection, application and design criteria for material." Standards are established as a basis to quantify, compare, measure or judge: capacity; quantity; content; extent; value; quality; etc. With this thought in mind, you can be certain that an installation by M & M Systems is properly installed the first time and will stand the test of time. All M
& M Systems installations are performed by BICSI registered installers. BICSI registered installers
are taught to have a working knowledge of industry codes and standards,
including the ANSI/TIA/EIA standards and the National Electrical
Code. BICSI installers are required to accumulate
continuing education credits to maintain this certification, insuring
up-to-date knowledge of industry practices. What is an RCDD? -
Registered Communications Distribution Designer is a designation for
individuals who demonstrate expertise in the design, integration, and
implementation of telecommunications (voice, data, video, audio, and
other low-voltage control) transport systems and their related
infrastructure components. An RCDD is responsible for the detailed design of new
systems and/or the integration of a design into an existing system.
These systems can include combinations of voice, data, video, audio, and
low-voltage control.
